Science and Engineering Fair
will be held at
March 6-9, 2017
Broadcom Masters Semi-Finalists
Congratulations to the five students selected from the
Northeast Ohio Science and Engineering Fair
as semi finalists in the Broadcom Foundation for 2016. The top 300 middle
school students were
selected from a pool of 2343 entrance and more than 6000 nominees. The
students from NEOSEF are
Ruth Anand (Homeschool Academy),
Caroline Jung (Hudson Middle School),
Kei Kojima (Broadway Creek Homeschool Academy),
Yoav Pinhasi (Beachwood Middle School),
and Kileigh Zielinski (North Olmsted Middle School).
From the 300 semi finalists, 30 finalist will be chosen on September 20,
2016. Finalists and one parent
or guardian will receive an all expense paid trip to Washington DC to attend
the Broadcom Masters finals
week competition from October 27 to November 2, 2016. Finalists will present
their research and compete
in hands on challenges for top prizes including funds to attend a STEM
Summer camp, iPads and the
Samuell Prize of $25.00. Congratulations and good luck.
